Fortunately, we were able to welcome everyone again to our Inhouse Competitions on May 21st and 22nd. The organization enjoyed it again!
From the 4-year-olds who repeatedly tried the one leg throw they knew in their first games, to the older fighters (up to 11) who tried to floor each other with different techniques. For the referees, other volunteers, and the parents, both the beginners and the advanced were great fun to watch. Every now and then a participant had to be comforted, we can’t all win. Besides this, the competitions went smoothly again without any problems. Our first aiders have provided one comfort lemonade😉
On Saturday, we had planned a team tournament for the 12+, which unfortunately could not take place due to too few participants. Instead, we put all seniors against each other, which is different from the randori during training. Those participants were also enthusiastic about it, and it would be nice if there were more judokas next year!
