On Sunday, July 5th, Sophie earned her 3rd dan in judo!
After a week’s delay due to the heat and a code orange weather warning, Sophie finally had the chance to show what she could do. Together with her ukes Michel, Verena and Marie, she demonstrated a beautiful kata series, throws and groundwork.
Many judoka from our club travelled to Zoetermeer to watch Sophie’s exam and cheer her on. We were treated to excellent judo with a joyful outcome.
A very well‑deserved 3rd dan judo.
