Exactly eleven years to the day after Juna first stepped onto the judo mat, she achieved her 1st dan judo last saturday. A remarkable milestone and a performance to be proud of.
The examination panel praised her strong and convincing exam. Her kata was executed beautifully, and the other components were performed excellently as well.
A large group of judoka were present to cheer her on. They clearly enjoyed watching the exam and were unanimous in their verdict: this was a wonderful and well‑deserved result.
