On Saturday June 20th, our head Jiu-Jitsu instructor Robin, together with Ellen, successfully passed his exam for his 4th Dan in Jiu-Jitsu. They traveled all the way to Nijmegen for this.
After getting injured, Robin had to adjust his exam routine at the last minute. Achieving a 4th Dan is already an accomplishment, but doing
so while injured is particularly impressive.
Marchel Snieder (5th Dan) and Hugo Nijhof (7th dan) presented him with his belt and diploma.
In the field of Jiu-Jitsu, Robin is now at the same level as our founder Joop Gouweleeuw—a wonderful milestone.
