On Sunday, November 9th, we held our anniversary tournament to celebrate Budo Gouweleeuw’s 60th anniversary. There was a great turnout of 105 participants aged 6 to 14, including 29 from Kian Schi and 6 from Velo.
The judokas competed with great sport and enthusiasm; it was once again a real judo party. The prizes from the 21 pools were nicely distributed among the various clubs, and everyone won a first, second, or honorary prize, plus a special anniversary banner. There were many happy faces among the judokas, their parents, and grandparents.
