Normally, we organize a judo tournament for our own members once a year in the spring, the Onderlinge Wedstrijden (Internal Competitions). To celebrate our 60th anniversary, we’re doing something special this year: an Anniversary Tournament! For our own members and those of two friendly clubs, Velo and Kian Schi, so you’ll have a change of pace. It’s a tournament for everyone, from beginners to advanced, aged 6 to 14.
We use a pool system, dividing children into groups based on age, weight, and experience. And again, everyone gets a prize! We’re hoping for a real judo party 😉
This judo tournament will be held on Sunday, November 9th.

On Saturday, November 8th, we’re also organizing a team tournament for the avid competitive judokas, where teams from Budo Gouweleeuw will compete against teams from other clubs. For this, the participants are selected from our own competition groups.
